Recipe Frozen Chocolate Mint Squares

Try out this mouth watering recipe.

Ingredients :

1 ½ cups finely crushed chocolate wafer cookies (approximately 30 cookies)
6 tablespoons margarine, melted
1 7-oz jar marshmallow creme
½ teaspoon mint extract
A few drops green food coloring
1/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
2 cups whipping cream



Mix the crushed wafer cookies and margarine.
Press the mixture onto the bottom in plastic, rectangular pan.
Beat the marshmallow creme, mint extract and green food coloring with an electric mixer on medium speed until the mixture is smooth.
Fold in ½ cup of the miniature semisweet chocolate chips.
Whip the cream until soft peaks form.
Fold the whipped cream into the marshmallow cream mixture being careful not to stir it too much.
Spread this mixture over the crust.
Sprinkle the top with the remaining chocolate chips.
Cover the pan with foil (or a plastic lid if so equipped) and freeze for six to seven hours.
Remove from the freezer at least 15 minutes before you plan to serve.
Serve chilled.
