Fried prawn balls

Fry these as soon as the mixture is ready. I think this is one recipe that is fuss free and fantastic for large parties.
Preparation Time : 10-15 minutes
Cooking Time : 10-15 minutes
Servings : 4
Prawn (small) 150 grams

Vegetable stock 4 tablespoons

Sake 1 tablespoon

Cornflour/ corn starch 1 1/2 tablespoons

Salt to taste

Oil for deep-frying

Sea salt 1 1/2 tablespoons

Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon

Lemon, cut into wedges 1/2

Mix prawns, vegetable stock, sake, cornflour and salt in a food processor and process until smooth. Transfer the mixture into a small bowl.Heat sufficient oil in a wok. Grease a tablespoon and scoop two tablespoons of the prawn mixture and shape into a ball. Gently lower the ball into the hot oil and deep-fry till lightly browned. Drain and place on a wire rack. Repeat this process till all the mixture is used up. Mix salt and black pepper powder in a small plate. Serve the fried prawn balls hot, garnished with lemon wedges and pepper salt.
