Egg samosas

Ingredients


For dough:
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp oil or ghee
  • a pinch of baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt.
  • 1/2 cup water or as required.
For filling:
  • 4 hard boiled eggs.
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander
  • 4 chopped green chili
Oil for deep frying.

Directions

  1. In a food processor knead mix all process until u get a nice dough.
  2. Bring out on a board, sprinkle with flour & knead for 2 min.
  3. Set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl combine all the filling ingredients & toss well.
  5. Divide the dough into balls & roll out into thin 5 inch circle.
  6. Fill each wrapper with filling & fold into half circles. Stick the sides with a lil water.
  7. Do the same until all the filling has finished.
  8. Heat oil in a wok & deep fry the samosas.
  9. Serve hot with your choice of chutney & tea.
