Dry fruit sandwich!!
Seedless dates-100 gms
Sugar crystals-100 gms (made into small pieces)
Cardamom powder-1 tsp
Edible silver foil-1-2 sheets
Soak 900 gms of cashew nuts in water for half an hour and then grind it. Care should be taken while grinding that it is ground into crystals ( like suzi). Take a kadai heat ghee in it. Now fry this cashew nut’s powder. Take another pan and make sugar syrup by adding sugar and water. Add this syrup to the kadai with cashew nut powder. Once this mixture solidifies, off the flame and Transfer the content into a bowl. Meanwhile chop the remaining cashew nuts, almonds, pista, and dates. Take ¼ th content of the cashew and sugar mixture and add kesar, dry fruit’s mixture , sugar crystals. Mix well and keep it aside. Call this as layer-2
Make the remaining mixture and make it into 2 equal halves.
Call them as layer 1 and 3.
Layer-1& 3 are cashew and sugar mixture and layer-2 is dry fruit’s mixture.
Take the roti base and make all these layers flat by pressing with roti maker. Now take plate and spread layer-3 first at the base. Then spread the layer-2 on the top of layer-3 and then the top most layer-1 i.e, like sandwich. Spread the silver paper on it and cut it into desired shapes. Serve.
