DAHI POHA TADKA

INGREDIENTS
Skimmed milk yogurt

Pressed rice (poha), thick 1 1/2 cups
Oil 1 1/2 teaspoons
Asafoetida a pinch
Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
Onions, chopped 2 medium
Ginger, finely chopped 1 inch piece
Curry leaves 10-15
Green chillies, seeded and chopped 2
Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped 2 tablespoons
METHOD
Wash and soak poha for five minutes. Drain well. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add asafoetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and sauté for a minute Add onions and ginger and continue to sauté for two minutes. Add curry leaves and green chillies and sauté for one minute. Add the yogurt and turmeric powder and mix well. Add salt and mix. Add coriander leaves and mix. Add the poha and mix well. Serve hot.
