Ingredients

1 cup rice
5-6 spoons thick tamarind juice
4 spoons of oil
4 red chillies
1 spoon channa dal
1/2 spoon urad dal
1/4 spoon mustard seeds
1/2 spoon jeera
1/4 spoon asofoetida
1/4 spoon haldi
Curry leaves
Salt to taste
Method
Cook rice. Soak channa dal in little water and keep aside.
Add oil in a pan and heat it.
After heating the oil add red chillies, urad dal, mustard, jeera, asofoetida and keep heating till urad dal becomes brown.
Add curry leaves,channadal, tamarind juice and some salt. Cook this for 3 minutes.
Add this tamarind juice and others into the cooked rice. Mix well
serve with lemon pickle.
