Recipe Cheese Souffle

Cheese Souffle

Time Taken : 15-30 mins

Ingredients:
15g butter
15g refined flour
150 ml milk
55g cheese
2 eggs
Salt
A pinch of pepper

Method

  1. Melt butter in a pan.
  2. Add flour and cook for a few minutes.
  3. Add hot milk and cook till sauce thickens stirring all the time.
  4. Remove and cool.
  5. Add grated cheese and seasoning and beaten yolk of eggs.
  6. Whip the egg white very stiff and fold into the mixture.
  7. Pour into a greased souffle mould and bake in a hot oven at 250 C for 15/20 minutes
