Recipe Brocolli and Pine Nut Kabab

Ingredients:
Brocolli - ( Blanched in hot water for 2 mins) 2 Cups
Boiled Potatoes - mashed 1cup
Pine Nuts - 1/4 cup
Roasted Chana Powder - 2 tablespoons
Corn flour 1 tablespoon

Green Chilli - chopped 1 tablespoon
Fresh Coriander chopped 1 tablespoon
Red chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon ( as per your taste)
Salt as per taste
Ginger Paste 1 tablespoon


* What is roasted chana powder - You can get ready made roasted chana ( or Chickpeas) from the shops and then grind them to a powder at home using a mortar and pestle.

Instructions: 1. Blanch or steam the Brocolli and cut into very small pieces
2. Boil or microwave the potatoes and then mash them completely.
3. Take a mixer bowl and add the brocolli and mashed potatoes in it
4. Add the Roasted Chana Powder
5. Add the corn flour
6. Add the Green chilli
7. Add the Fresh Coriander
8. Add the Red Chilli Powder
9. Add the Ginger Paste
10. Add the salt.
11. Add the Pine Nuts
12.Mix everything with hand thoroughly.
13 Now you can either shallow Fry this mixture in small round cakes ( Tikki) Or take a skewer and then make it like a Seekh Kabab.

If the mixture does not have enough binding then you can add some more roasted chana powder .

Sqeeze some lemon juice while serving and some fresh coriander leaves.

Serve it with Tamarind Chutne
