- 3 beetroots-medium size,
- 1 tsp. ginger powder,
- 1 tsp. amchur(mango powder),
- 3 tsp. sugar,
- 3 tsp. cornflour,
- salt as per taste,
- 1 tsp. chilli powder.
- 1/2 tsp. mustard powder(optional).
- Peel and cut beetroot, in small square shape,
- boil it with salt and ginger powder-water should be enough to boil and remains about 1/2 cup,
- add sugar, chilli, amchur, cornflour(blend in 2 tbsp. water), mustard powder.
- cook on slow flame, for 5-7 mins.
- serve it with rice, bread or chips.
