Beer Ice Cream Recipe
Beer 1 1/2 cups
Heavy Cream 1 cup
Egg yolks 4
Sugar 1/2 cup
Whisk together egg yolks and sugar till the mixture turns pale yellow.
Heat together beer and cream in a non-stick pan.
Slowly pour beer mixture over the egg mixture, whisking constantly to temper the yolks.
Return the mixture to the pan and cook on low heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens.
Pour the mixture through a strainer into a bowl kept over ice and stir until cool. Freeze in an airtight container.
