Yamaha is back with more goodies for Indian bikers with a stylish and sizzling new FZ16 and its called FZ-S.
After giving the Indian populace stunning motorcycles like the YZF-R15 and the FZ16 last year, India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. looks focused to achieve the numero uno spot in the Indian two-wheeler bazaar. Yesterday, Yamaha announced the launch of a new FZ16 variant called the FZ-S, which is a more stylized version that comes with an aerodynamically chiseled windshield, a more aggressively styled headlight design and a carbon-fibre replica instrument console along with new color schemes and sporty graphics.
Commenting about the new model and Yamaha's direction, Mr. Y. Tsuji, CEO & Managing Director, India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. said, "Yamaha has set forward on a journey where each and every product of ours will set a benchmark in the market with its technological superiority, quality & manufacturing excellence and style quotient. The arrival of this new variant FZ-S is a clear illustration of how the market has responded to FZ 16. Our strategic intent is to provide customers with stylish variant to suite his fashion statement and personality."
Yamaha has also released two new paint schemes for this new variant - Yellow Streak and SilverTech and the bike will soon be available at the Yamaha showrooms across the country. The FZ-S draws additional premium of Rs. 2000 over the normal FZ16, taking the ex-showroom (Delhi) price to Rs. 67,000.
