Volkswagen has launched a special edition of the Vento sedan called the Style Edition for Rs 8.10 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This is the second special edition after the Polo SR from the German automaker and is available on the Comfortline petrol and diesel variants. It features cosmetic upgrades both on the inside and outside including a new shade pepper grey.
On the outside, the Style Edition gets a chrome front grille, exterior chrome highlights as well as special alloy wheels. Inside, the car has been fitted dual tone upholstery, ‘style’ badges and has been given chrome garish on the door sills.
The engine line up remains the same as before; a 1.5-litre petrol that produces 104PS+153Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre diesel mill that produces 104PS+250Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to front wheels via a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic which is only offered with the petrol mill.
