The 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser is a five passenger sport utility car that comes with the four-door and is available in three different trim levels. The available trim levels are FJ Cruiser 4×2, 4×4 MT and 4×4 AT models.



The introduction model Cruiser 4×2 comes with the standard 4.0 liter V6 engine that produces 239 horse power of energy and achieves 17 miles per gallon on the city streets and achieves 21 miles per gallon. The Cruiser 4×4 AT is offered with the standard 4.0 liter V6 engine that produces 239 horse power of energy and achieves 16 miles per gallon in city streets and 20 miles per gallon on the highway roads. Both the trim levels come with the five speed automatic transmission along with the overdrive facility. The Toyota FJ Cruiser produced in the model year 2009 is a carryover over the 2008 version. The Cruiser 4×4 MT comes with the 4.0 liter V6 engine that produces 540 horse power of energy and achieves 14 miles per gallon in city streets and 19 miles per gallon on the highway roads.

The FJ Cruiser also comes with body-on-frame sports with two doors. The 4×2 model is featured with electronic locking rear tires. The other features in the vehicle include inclinometer, a compass, outside temperature guage, climate controls, FM radio, and rear differential locking. The 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser is offered with a rear view camera fixed in to the auto dimming rear view mirror in the convenience package.
