Duno exactly. ,
Bt from last 14 years , most of the time i m riding my bullet like this,

At speed of 20-25 km in fourth gear with half cluch pressed,, awaaj wali att ban di fer.

Hale tak taan kuch ni hoia

i think depends on what car because each car is different. they all have different weight, gear ratio, power delivery, transmission type and bla bla.
Does ur car jerks at 50kmph? i wouldn't drive my car in 5th gear at such low speeds all the time, when i know i would consume more fuel. Thats y we have other low gears.

yeah true. Petrol cars struggle at 50-60 in 5th gear. diesel cars mostly can take that without an issue

yup. diesel engines have better power delivery than petrol. Diesel engines have more torque and the low end torque starts at very low rpms.
But, u can achieve some extra torque by turbo or super charging the petrol engine.
