Looks like Indian luxury car segment is on a roll, thanks to the launch of the effervescent all-terrain vehicle - TATA Land Rover. Almost a year after the acquisition of the iconic Jaguar and Land Rover from Ford Motor Co, TATA launched the three variants of the awe-inspiring Land Rover - Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Discovery 3 in the company’s flagship showroom, at Ceejay House, in Mumbai. The vehicles come with a horde of features and reflect class and sophistication, at par. With no plans of assembling the cars in India in the present times, TATA would continue to import the cars to satiate the demands of luxury car lovers. All the three variants of Land Rover mark opulence and sumptuousness. Apart from the spectacular looks, the stunning SUV is well-equipped with stylish cabin, prolific space and latest technology.

Design & Interiors
Though the exterior may pose to be strong and rigid, Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Discovery 3 have extremely elegant and graceful interiors. While the Range Rover boasts of contemporary interiors coupled with the highest leather content and most exquisite trim finishes, dynamic cockpit interior with various leather and wood options defines the interiors of Range Rover Sport. Discovery 3 sports a stylish designing and features seven full-size adult seats in three rows.

Engine
Talking about the locomotive capacity of the vehicles, both Range Rover and Range Rover Sport is powered by twin turbo V8 diesel or supercharged V8 engine. This is further coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission, commandshift being the standard feature. On the other hand, Discovery 3 features an advanced 2.7 litre TDV6 common-rail diesel. Unimpeachable balance and receptiveness beams as the significant features of the vehicles.

Safety
Land Rover has long since donned the cap of being all-terrain vehicle and hence forwards extensive safety features, available in any other car belonging to this segment. Its terrain response feature ensures the settings for gearbox, throttle, air suspension and traction control. Such a characteristic is sure to be extremely supportive while driving and suits any kind of land, be it tarmac, sand, snow, mud or boulders. While Range Rover and Range Rover Sport features all the above as their safety feature, Discovery 3 comes with four-corner independent air suspension, electronic cross-linking and variable ride height.

Variants & Price
TATA Land Rover has introduced three variants in the Indian market, which include Land Rover Discovery 3, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover. The vehicles have been tagged within the price range of 63 to 90 lakhs.
