Mahindra Mojo's Price Hiked Across India

Mahindra Mojo was launched in India only last month at an introductory price of Rs. 1.58 lakh. However, now with the 2015 festive season deemed over in the country, Mahindra has increased the Mojo's price across India. To be initially available in select dealerships in New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru, the price hike affect's the Mahindra Mojo's price by Rs. 5,000.

At the Mahindra Mojo launch, the company had also announced that 100 units of the bike had already been booked via invitations. Along with the discounted price, these customers also received a 2-year nation-wide Road Side Assistance package and a 3-year extended warranty.

The Mahindra Mojo comes powered by a 295cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that offers an output of 27bhp along with 30Nm of maximum torque. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the Mahindra sports tourer faces competition from motorcycles like the Honda CRB 250R, KTM Duke 390, and Kawasaki Ninja 250R.

Mahindra Mojo's list of features comprise head-lamps with LED daytime running lights, body-coloured sump guard, dual-tone seat, LED tail-lamp, an instrument console integrated lap-timer with LED elements, and Y-spoke, 17-inch black alloy wheels that are wrapped with Pirelli Diablo Rosso tyres. Mahindra offers the Mojo in three colour options, namely, Glacier White, Volcano Red, and Charcoal Black.
