The Lotus Evora is first of the three new models that form part of a bold five year strategy plan that CEO Mike Kimberley kicked off in October 2006. Lotus will have a three platform portfolio of sports cars, from Elise family and her sisters Exige and Europa, through to the new Evora 2+2 coupe, and the brand flagship, a mid engine supercar entering the global marketplace in 2010.
This is the 2009 Lotus Evora, a 2+2 coupe powered by 3.5L V6 producing 276 hp, mated with a six-speed manual transmission and a curb weight of just 2,976 lbs. It has its interior filled with high-end appointments like leather, a navigation system, Bluetooth, iPod connectivity, and more.
