SMS Supercars releases photos, details of Camaro 620/620X
Steve Saleen’s hunger for building specialty cars other than Mustangs has started the New Year off right while adding upcoming SMS 620 Camaro to its list of SMS Signature Series cars. Steve’s new company, SMS Supercars, has released the images of 620 Camaro which is third and the latest of the ultra-high performance automobiles. It’ll be packed with 6.2 liter V8 engine featuring 575 hp and 600 ft-lb of torque, allowing it to reach 0-60 mph under 4.3 seconds. More images after the jump.
While the even more powerful 6.2 liter V8 of the SMS 620X Camaro will deliver a stunning 715 hp and 700 ft-lb in addition to upgraded suspension, brakes, differential and wheels. SMS 620 Camaro’s other design elements will be similar to that of Challenger, including the side induction hood, five-spoke wheels, Alcantara and leather seats. Though SMS 620 Camaro is currently only in illustrated form, yet the production version should be ready sometime in the second quarter of 2010.
