Bentley Mulsanne engine is a refashioned and updated version of the 6.8-liter V8 that has powered Bentleys for years. This time around, it's been engineered for even more torque at low levels -- 752 lb-ft at 1800 rpm, to be exact.
More than half of the nine-week build process for the Bentley Mulsanne is taken up by hand-crafting the interior. Leather, wood, glass, stainless steel -- they can all be found in the interior. Every sense (except, hopefully, taste) is addressed by the interior design team, including the smell of the traditionally tanned hides. The interior comes in a couple dozen standard colors, but it can be hand-matched to the new owner's taste.
