Audi might bring in a micro SUV based on the A1 hatchback. The SUV will be smaller than the Q3 which will be launched later this year. The trend of smaller crossovers was started by BMW when they launched the X1, an affordable, fuel efficient SUV. Audi responded to it by announcing the Q3. Wonder what BMW will do if Audi’s Q1 becomes a reality?
Audi CEO Rupert Stadler confirmed for Automotive News Europe that a new SUV could be developed to join the range below the Q5 and the upcoming Q3.
