The GT TSI comes in only one variant and costs Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is expensive by hatchback standards. We think VW missed a trick by not offering a manual gearbox and a slightly stiffer suspension setup to better suit the car's GT tag. Also, if you happen to be one of those looking for a truly involving driver's car, you might be disappointed. The Polo TSI is aimed at a wider audience that wants a car that is effortless to drive and has a nice, upmarket feel to it. And that's exactly what this latest variant of the Polo is. It's more of a premium, easy to drive automatic hatch than a proper GT.
