It’s starting to look like ViewSonic is taking the same approach to the tablet PC market as Dell and Archos by introducing a whole range of slate devices running Google Android.

We already knew that ViewSonic planned to launch a 7 inch tablet as well as two 10 inch models (one running Android, and another dual booting Windows 7 and Android). Now DigiTimes reports that the company plans to add a 5 inch model to the mix.

It’s not clear if the 5 inch Android tablet will be available globally. A ViewSonic exec only says it will help “satisfy demand in emerging markets in Southeast Asia.”

Still, it looks like ViewSonic may soon have 5, 7, and 10 inch tablet offerings… just like Dell. On the other hand, the company doesn’t have the same kind of brand recognition as Dell, so it remains to be seen how well these little guys will sell.
