US military’s ‘Iron Man’ armor TALOS will be ready for testing by June
The head of US Special Operations Command has recently revealed that the first prototypes for the upcoming US military’s Iron Man armor will be ready for the testing purpose by June. According to the Defense Tech reports, three unpowered prototypes of the Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit (also known as TALOS), are currently being assembled, and the delivery is expected by June.
Currently there over 16 government agencies, 56 corporations, 13 universities and 10 national laboratories who are working together to develop this armor. The work on TALOS was started last October and is expected to include its own on-board computer, health monitors in coming future. The suit will hopefully get ready for the field by August 2018.
