TP-LINK AV200 Nano Powerline Adapter converts your power outlets into data ports

TP-Link has launched the AV200 Nano Powerline Adapter in India today. It is a gadget that converts your regular power outlets into data ports.

The gadget allows you to make use of existing electrical wires to establish a networking infrastructure. It comes with a standard two pin plug which is compatible anywhere in India and across Europe as well.
All users have to do is connect it a unit to a power socket and press the pairing button. They will be able to create a Powerline connection with 128 bit encryption in a matter of few minutes. The AV200 can provide a data transfer speed of upto 200Mbps for up to 300 metres.
They have an ethernet port (RJ45) and come with one cable bundled in the box as well. The AV200 also has a power saving feature that helps to reduce power consumption by upto 75%. The AV200 will available for purchase in India at a price of Rs 2,499 and will come as a starter kit with 2 AV200 units, Ethernet Cable, Guide and Installation Disc.
