The Galaxy Tab 730 is the latest Android smartphone from Samsung that brags a hefty 8.9 inches multitouch display screen with 1280×800 pixel resolution. It runs on the latest version of Android tablets OS, the Honeycomb 3.1 and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. Measuring at just 8.6 millimeters, the Tab 730 is claimed to be the World’s thinnest mobile tablet.
The smartphone also features high speed 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity and wireless LAN. Other specifications for the Galaxy Tab 730 include: dual cameras – a 3 mega pixel rear camera with auto focus and LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front camera for video calling; network support for Quad band GSM/ GPRS/ EDGE/HSPA+;1GB RAM; Bluetooth 3.0; and, USB 2.0.
The tablet also supports Full HD 720p video recording and playback and includes a Gyroscope and accelerometer. Further, the storage could be expanded to suit the users’ needs up to 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB.
It is priced at Rs.33,000 and will be available from September.
