Very Bad experience with my HP notebook ! purchased on oct,2007 .....after 3 months it started giving small problems but i ignored . Some of major problems which i got from day first - internal Webcam Driver problem ,battery back up worst !
from last few days , MC was overheating , gvn service centre .....lol they said the cost of repair will be around Rs 15k ......, and surprise to see they given me another 2 new problems ! ....all dat i can say ...Buy HP @ ur own risk !

I own a Gateway M6750. Its a great laptop and it wasn't to expensive either. It was 699 USD when it first came out but now its depreciated to about 599. Its got a webcam 3 gb of ram and some other newer technologies. It has been running great for a year so far(hopefully it will run like this forever). I am not using the preinstalled vista because there was to much malware. I installed Windows 7 Pre-beta which is working pretty well (only a few bugs). Its a great laptop except for this strange squealing noise that comes from the speakers when nothing is playing or they are on mute.

mines was originally HP pavillion t511i bought 5 yrs ago wid folloe=wing config:
* intel P4 2.8 Ghz
*256 Mb Ram
*80 Gb HDD
*onboard 16 mb graphics
*vga display,17'
*built-in 17-card reader
*CD-r/rw
now upgraded to:
*80+160Gb HDD
*256+512 MB, Ram
*DVD- r/rw
not a super machine, but is working better than any other that my friends have.
didn't crashed in last 15-18 months
m using linux-ubuntu, and windows XP SP2

HP DV6000 Laptop.........bahut pehla liya c..
Chulda vadiya haley tak.......ajj tak meh sirf ik key fix karai ah..jehri saaf karan lagey nikal gai c.....keyboard type karan lai vadia .......par gaming lai ni haiga laptop...
inbuilt graphics 6150......jehdey tey jaada navian games ni chaldian....par ohdey lai desktop haiga....
hun laptop isto vadia hor v sastey ney.....

fer office waleya ne dell lae ke deya Dell Latutude 620 vadhiya hai, with 3 yr accidental damage protection on it, usdi LCD te body nu chhad ke sab kuch replace ho chukeya
at home i have HP DV2500 eh vichara iko kam anda movies dekhan de , i used to connect it to television using S Band cable
