Samsung is the latest PC maker to launch a new line of netbooks powered by Intel’s new Atom N550 dual core processor. The Samsung NF series consists of three models, the NF310, NF210, and NF110.

The Samsung NF310 will sport a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 CPU, DDR3 memory, and a high resolution 1366 x 768 pixel display.

Samsung is pushing the NF210 as a model designed for extra-long battery life, thanks to its 5 cell, 8850mAh battery which the company says should provide up to 14 hours of run time. There’s no word on the processor or other specs for this model yet.

Meanwhile, the Samsung NF110 is the budget model, although there’s no word on pricing yet.

Samsung is also bundling its Easy File Share software with the netbooks, which let you transfer files between PCs using an ad-hoc WiFI connection. They also feature the Samsung AllShare system which lets you play videos, music, and display photos on Samsung DLNA devices including phones and cameras.

The new Samsung NF series netbooks are due out in Europe in October. They should be available worldwide sometime after that.
