Samsung brings the sexy back with PX2370 monitor

Back when LCD monitors were just becoming standard equipment, the high price of monitors meant manufacturers could go high-end with the non-display hardware (the bezel, base, etc.). I’m thinking particularly of products like the 172x and 193p. It’s no coincidence they were both from Samsung; the company was the leader of the field back then.
You can still get a premium LCD today but you’ll generally be paying for a high-end panel, not the amazing housing or serious adjustability. Size is still the number one indicator of price and then display quality, but the commodification of the LCD has cut back on the number of great looking displays out there. Samsung to the rescue…again.
Sammy’s PX2370 LCD-backlit 23-inch display looks fantastic and it doubles as a television (sans speakers). It runs at 1920×1080 and sells for a little over $300. It’s not wall-mountable, but it’s super-thin and has a swivel base.
