In a battery of tests conducted by Engadget, the CF 30 survived "…Diet Coke to the keys, a few chomps from a white tiger…a single .22 slug through the lid…."
Their review also found the the 1024 x 768 resolution display on the 13.3-inch touchscreen bright, easy to read in sunlight, and the laptop reasonably comfortable to use, but not to carry around (8.4 pounds)
At 10 hours of battery life, the device rounds up the endurance specs nicely.
