OnLive offering $99 Game System for free with Homefront pre-

OnLive is serious about getting us all gaming in the cloud. So much so that the OnLive Game System is now being offered for free with a game pre-order.
The offer runs until March 14 and sees you get the $99 Game System completely free whenHomefront is pre-ordered for $49. As an added bonus Metro 2033 will also be available to play for free after purchase.
Steve Perlman, CEO of OnLive said:
This is a watershed event: Itís the first time a game system has ever been given away with the purchase of a game. Homefront is one of the biggest games coming out this quarter, and we wanted gamers to see just how incredible is to have the hottest title playable with the instant-play, massive spectating experience on their HDTV that is only possible through OnLive.
The Game System consists of a MicroConsole that connects to your TV and wired broadband. A wireless controller is then used to play the games from the comfort of your favorite TV chair. Alternatively you can play on your PC without need for the Game System.

Beyond the initial free game and Game System, OnLive is also offering a $9.99 per month planintroduced earlier this month. This PlayPack offers up 38 games to play all streamed from the OnLive servers to your home, with the line-up of games expanding all the time.
Although this offer runs until March 14 it could end much sooner than that if OnLive run out of Game System stocks
