The GeForce GTX 690 would be NVIDIA’s next generation dual chip graphics card based on two GK104 28nm Kepler Cores and would launch in May 2012.

A few latest details of NVIDIA’s upcoming GeForce GTX 690 (Dual GK104) GPU have been revealed by Expreview.

To begin with, it is reported that GeForce GTX 690 will draw power from two 8-pin PCIe power connectors.

The GeForce GTX 690 will use a PCI-Express 3.0-compliant bridge chip and Its display outputs will include three DVI and one DisplayPort.

A Minimum Power Supply requirement of 650W would be recommended with the GeForce GTX 690.

Alas, we still have to wait for the memory amount and clocks, much to our chagrin.

At least we know the release won’t be too far behind that of AMD’s own dual-GPU card, Radeon HD 7990.
