Mozilla has released yet another beta of Firefox 4.0 web browser for Windows, Linux, Mac and other platforms. The seventh beta of Firefox 4.0 includes a new JavaScript Engine dubbed as JaegerMonkey that promises faster page loads. If you have a good graphics card that supports OpenGL then you can make best of 3D graphics in the browser without installing any extra plugin.

With Firefox 3.5 version, Mozilla had introduced new TraceMonkey JavaScript Engine that gave a commendable speed boost to the browser. Now the Firefox 4.0 beta 7 features new J gerMonkey JavaScript Engine that promises faster performance. So you can expect JavaScript intensive web services like Gmail and Facebook to be snappier and responsive. Faster start-up time and improved speeds would be noticed while using web apps and playing games online.

Hardware Acceleration has been enabled in this built so it will let the browser load interactive content like photos, apps or web games to respond faster. For windows, the hardware acceleration is powered using DirectX technology while on Mac OS X the same is powered using OpenGL support.

The recent builds of Google Chrome are capable of rendering 3D graphics through WebGL APIs. With the Firefox 4 beta 7, you can experience those 3D graphics thanks to those WebGL APIs and play browser based 3D games smoothly. Filling up HTML5 based forms would be bit less painful since the implementation and validation has been made easier. The entire list of changes is available in release notes.

Apart from that, the build carries loads of changes already available in previous Firefox 4.0 beta versions. Download and let us know if you really enjoy the faster performance and 3D graphics in this seventh beta.

Firefox 4.0 is due for release in early 2011 so don't be surprised if you get to see beta 8 or beta 9 coming out from Mozilla Labs.
