Microsoft launches three new additions to mouse range

While most new releases in the mouse category usually involve a wireless solution, longer battery life, or some novel new design, Microsoft has gone in the other direction. Three new additions to its mouse line-up are decidedly simple, cheap, and wired.
First up we have a very colorful new range called the Express Mouse. While wired, the wire actually comes out of the left-hand side of the mouse giving it a distinctive look. There’s also 6 different colors to choose from (gray, red, green, pink, light and dark blue).

The Express is designed for “effortless comfort when posting and tweeting”. It also uses Microsoft’s BlueTrack technology making it very precise on just about any surface except glass or mirrored finishes. Surprisingly, it also has three customizable buttons, but we can’t locate them on the casing, can you?
Expect to pay $19.95 for the Express Mouse when it arrives in June.
Microsoft has also released a Comfort Mouse 3000 and Comfort Mouse 6000. As the name implies, these models are all about comfort. The main difference between the two is the 6000 is aimed specifically at those who mouse with their right hand. The 3000 can be used with either hand.

Where as the 3000 costs $19.95, the 6000 is $29.95. That extra $10 isn’t just for the right-hand design, though, as you get 5 customizable buttons as opposed to 3 on the 3000. There’s also a “detent scroll wheel” making for super smooth mouse wheel use.

Both the Comfort Mouse 3000 and 6000 are out in April.
