LG are offering us a chance to step back in time with its latest TV model called the LG Serie 1. This is a TV aimed specifically at the Korean market, but was once, a few decades ago, the staple of many homes and families sitting together watching the tube.
The Serie 1 is a 14-inch TV using CRT instead of the now standard LCD and Plasma displays. It does have a remote control, but the casing sports two dials for channel and volume adjustment. Other surprises include a built-in digital tuner, 4:3 aspect ratio, rabbit-ears antenna, and detachable chrome legs. You can also choose to watch it in black and white.
If you want to experience some retro styling and viewing experience the Serie 1 will cost $216 and is available in orange or brown. You may have a bit of trouble getting one shipped from Korea, however.
