First check if win8 is compatible with your laptop , acer has no option for win8 drivers (Operating System: DROP.DOWN.LIST)

Download drivers (according to date "latest one") from manufacturer website : Acer Support: Downloads & Support Documents - Notebook / Aspire / Aspire 6930G

do not use driver updater/windows update/anything to update drivers this will cause some issues. (true in my case, laptop are n will always be awful).

if you want to update bios than download latest one from the above link , extract/open/unzip/unrar (u will get "something.exe". open it) let it update , done
