Hisense’s 75M7900 giant 75 inch 4K HDR TV hits the U.K market

For all you U.K readers who are looking for one very affordable 4K HDR TV option for its size, you might want to check out Hisense’s newest U.K release, the giant 75 inch 75M7900.

The £2500 is not only reasonable, but the TV itself seems to come quite loaded with some solid 4K home entertainment specs and the 75 inch display size is downright impressive in its broadness, especially for the price we just described.

That said, the 75M7900 also offers up full high dynamic range technology, in addition to its native 4K ultra HD resolution and comes with a quad core processor and a pile of smart TV features as well. Apps for Amazon, One-Touch Netflix access, YouTube and numerous others such as the U.K-particular BBC iPlayer are all supported in the 75M7900 and connectivity options of course also include three USB 3.0 ports, two HDMI 2.0 port and an assortment of optical audio and web connectivity options that include built-in WiFi.

The inclusion of USB 3.0 is a nice change from the still quite common use of the older, weaker USB 2.0 spec for 4K TV connectivity ports but the trade-off here seems to be the absence of more than two HDMI ports, in an industry in which the majority of name-brand 4K TVs offer up at least 4 such ports and in some cases as many as 5 or 6.



This is also a flat screened 4K TV, which is another nice bonus, given that curvature in many 4K TVs is not only used as a justification for a pointlessly higher price but is also a simple gimmick with no real “immersion” to offer any normal-sized 4K TV.

Hisense has kicked up the quality with its 2016 4K TVs and is now entering this particular market with what seems to be a new level of focus on higher quality, superior specs and assorted new features that combine to make the company’s numerous new 2016 HDR 4K televisions into some very attractive options for users who want a more affordable price range.

While we haven’t formally reviewed the 75M7900 or any of its 2016 Hisense cousins yet, they’re definitely worth a look and their specs sound pretty robust. Reports on overall display quality indicate that it’s solid as well.
