Help in extraction

Hello friends I need your help basically I got a zip folder downloaded from other site but unable to extract & hence its showing an error:

Windows cannot open the folder.

The Compressed (zipped) Folder
File name*.zip is invalid.

* I kept this for an example.

More info: Using Win 8 pro
For zip files extraction windows do itself to extract files.

If required any other software please share here.

Try Winrar or 7zip (even try repairing with them)
Sounds like some curroptdownload error :dk
