Gateway is expected to launch 4 new notebooks with Intel Core i-series processors later this month. The Gateway NS series notebooks will have screens ranging in size from 11.6 inches to 15.6 inches, and will come with Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 mobile processors.
The smallest model is the Gateway NS10, which will ship with an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display and several CPU options including a low power Intel Core i3-330UM, core i5-430UM, Core i5-520UM, and Core i5-540UM.
The NS10 supports up to 4GB of DDR3 memory and ships with either Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Professional. Hard drive options range from 160GB to 640GB and up. It also comes with Bluetooth 3.0, and either 802.11b/g or 802.11b/g/n WiFi. Battery options includes a 24Whr 3 cell battery and 48Whr and 63Whr 6 cell batteries.
The notebook measures 11.2″ x 8.1″ x 1.1″ and weighs 2.97 pounds. The other laptops in the NS series should all be… bigger. You can find more details in the press release.
