Apple has introduced a battery case designed specially for its new iPhone 6s and the older iPhone 6.
For Apple iPhone users, poor battery back-up has been a constant complaint and with the new iPhone 6s we saw, Apple reduce the battery size to 1715 mAh from the earlier 1810 mAh.
With the new battery case, which has been listed on the Apple website, the company is offering longer battery life of over 25 hours of talk-time and 18 hours of Internet use on 4G LTE. Video playback with the battery case stands at 20 hours.
Apple's new battery case, which has a soft microfiber lining on the inside will also protect the device, and on the outside, the company had given gone for a silicone cover.
Apple says that "with the Smart Battery Case on, the intelligent battery status is displayed on the iPhone Lock screen and in Notification Center, so you know exactly how much charge you have left."
The battery case supports Lightning accessories, such as the Lightning to USB Cable (which comes with the iPhone) and works with the iPhone Lightning Dock as well.
The battery case will come in Charcoal grey and white and is priced at $99.
