Acer has just announced the latest refresh of their TimelineX series of ultra-light, ultra-portable notebooks. Predictably, the refresh imbues the TimelineX series with the latest Intel Core i3 and Core i5 processors at very affordable prices starting at just $599.99.
The 13.3-inch 3820T and 14-inch 4820T each boast 4GB of memory, up to 500GB of hard drive space and an integrated hard drive, starting from $749.99. The 4820TG, on the other hand, packs in an additional ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 GPU which will work in conjunction with integrated graphics for improved battery life with a Core i3 processor, 4GB of DDR RAM and a 320GB hard drive, it’ll cost you $799.99 or $899.99 with a Core i5 CPU and 500GB drive.
On the other hand, the 3820T comes with a 13.3-inch CineCrystal LED backlit display, 4GB of DDR3 memory and a 320GB or 500GB hard drive, starting at $79.99.
Then there’s Acer’s 11.6-inch notebook, the Aspire 1830T. It weighs only 3.09 pounds but despite the small form factor ships with a full-size keyboard. It costs $599.99 and comes with a Core i3 CPU, 3GB of DDR3 RAM and a 320GB hard drive: $699.99 will step you up to a Core i5 CPU, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive.
