Xolo to Bring a Galaxy S4 Like Air Gesture Supported Devices
Lava International is planning to introduce a new smartphone under the brand name of Xolo that will come with Samsung Galaxy S4 like features. It will be a gesture controlled device that will understand sign language. The camera will be the one that will understand and compile operations based on gestures. With this revamped UI you can navigate through the phone. The machine will be running on Android platform. Rest of the hardware specification are unknown as of now.
Air Gesture feature of Samsung Galaxy S4 is well appreciated by the tech geeks and users. But itís way above the budget of common users. Now if Xolo manages to make their upcoming Gesture controlled device available at competitive price it will be a super hit provided it has the basic hardwware intact.
In Samsung Galaxy S4 the Air Gesture feature needs to be turned from the Settings. Itís the front camera or the Air Gesture sensor is placed where we normally see the front camera; at the top right corner. Some of the following features could be there if the same gesture sensor is used in Xolo that is found in SGS4-
When the display of the phone is turned off and the phone is in upside down position you can see status information by moving your hands above the sensor. You can select information you want to display on the information screen from Time & Date, Notification icons, Missed calls, Unread messages, Battery Power, or Current Music etc.

Accept incoming calls by moving your hands over the gesture sensor. By default the speaker is on.
Air move, Air browse and several other features are present in Samsung Galaxy S4. Itís still to be confirmed by Xolo what will be there in the gesture controlled device they are working on.
