Xolo recently launched the Q600 in India, the fourth in its Q series of smartphones, for Rs 8,499. This dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz MTK ARM Cortex A7 quad-core processor, runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and is fuelled by a 2,000mAh battery.

Along with the moderately powerful processor, the smartphone has a meagre 512MB of RAM. However, this lets it support HD video playback at 720p. Equipped with a 4.5-inch display that has a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, the Q600 is currently up for grabs at online retail site Snapdeal.com for Rs 8,749.

Here’s a quick look at the specifications of the Xolo Q600:
4.5-inch TFT FWVGA display with a resolution of 854x480 pixels
3G, Wi-Fi
Bluetooth
5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera
GPS
4GB internal memory; microSD slot with support for up to 32GB

Xolo's Q series has a variety of handsets. In May this year, the company introduced the Q1000 smartphone in the Indian market. Currently retailing for Rs 14,999, the Q1000 is just 8.8mm thick, supports two GSM SIM cards, and is equipped with a 5-inch IPS display. The smartphone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, so the interface should be smooth thanks to Project Butter, and the handset won't be lacking in any of Android's features such as Google Now. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and has 1GB RAM, which together should allow the phone to easily handle 1080p HD video playback.
