Sony Ericsson Xperia Kyno (Neo) Smartphone



Sony Ericsson will launch the Xperia Neo (Kyno) in France.

That’s the result of a contest launched by SE in France last month, which asked fans to choose a new name for the Neo. The final two names were Xperia Steady and Xperia Kyno – and of course the latter won in the end.

The smartphone would arrive on shelve with a 3.7-inch touchscreen display, capable of delivering a 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) resolution, the Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine as on other new Sony Ericsson handsets.

It also packs a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 application processor, as well as 320MB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space (an 8GB card included in the package).

The Sony Ericsson Xperia kyno lands with an 8.1-megapixel photo snapper on the back (Sony’s Exmor R for mobile), with auto focus LED flash, and HD video recording (720p) capabilities.
No info on the price tag the Sony Ericsson Xperia Kyno will arrive in France with emerged for the time being.
