Sony Ericsson says goodbye to Symbian

ldo Liguori from Sony Ericsson UK spoke to BusinessWeek and said that the company has no plans of creating any more Symbian-based devices.



Here’s the exact Aldo Liguori quote:

We have no plans for the time being to develop any new products to the Symbian Foundation standard or operating system.”

It does not sound conclusive, but it seems Nokia is alone for now. Let’s hope Symbian^3 and its successors will have the power to draw back some of its fans.

they are but dnt u get sick of the same thing ! even if you buy a nokia 3120 or nokia n95 .. they look the same in functions and menu..jeez

Its just sad...i used to love symbian because i was a loyal nokia fan and i still am but nokia refuses to update it and fix the niggling issues that might make it better.
