Samsung USA has officially unveiled a new Android handset called Samsung Gem SCH-i100.
It is disappointed that the Samsung Gem SCH-i100 is powered by Android 2.1 Eclair instead of Froyo or Gingerbread
Apart from the 1-year old version of Android, the Gem also comes with a 3.2 WQVGA touchscreen display, Swype virtual keyboard, social networking integration (via Samsung Hub), MicroSD card support, 3.2MP photo camera, and an 800MHz processor.
There’s no word on the price of the Samsung Gem.
