Samsung Galaxy S6 Release Date: 5 Expected Features of Galaxy S5 Successor

Speculations on the release date of Samsung Galaxy S6 have gained momentum after the launch of Galaxy Note 4, and if reports have anything to go by, the South Korean electronics giant could bring its upcoming flagship smartphone earlier than expected.
Reports are doing the rounds that Samsung Galaxy S6 could arrive as early as February, 2015, two months before Galaxy S5 completes 1-year cycle in the smartphone market. Samsung has the tradition of releasing the successor of its flagship device after it completes one year but it is reported that Galaxy S6 might arrive early by two months though it is not confirmed yet.
According to reports that have surfaced over the past few weeks, Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to come with several feature upgrades over its predecessor, and here are some of them:
1) Display Resolution: It is reported that Samsung's next flagship device will have a1440 x 2560 screen resolution with 554ppi without revealing screen size. Samsung had earlier said that a smartphone with 3840x2160 display resolution could be a reality in 2015, and this has made many believe that the Galaxy S6 could be the device to come with the feature.
2) Camera: There are conflicting reports on the camera of the device with some suggesting that it would house a 16MP main camera and a 5MP front snapper, while others claimed that it could come with a 20MP main camera.
3) Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 / Exynos 7420 / UFS 2.0 NAND Flash memory.

4) OS: Galaxy S6 will come with Google's recently released operating system, Android 5.0 Lollipop.
5) Storage: The device is expected to come in 32/64/128GB internal memory and 128GB microSD/SDHC slot.
Samsung is yet to reveal the specifications of Galaxy S6 but it is reported that it will have drastic changes from the Galaxy S5 with an aim to compete with its arch-rival Apple iPhone handsets.
The Galaxy S6 is currently in its early stages of development and is codenamed "Project Zero," SamMobile had earlier reported citing sources. "Our sources report that Samsung is probably developing its next-generation flagship device from scratch, with an entirely new vision, hence the codename."
The codename "Project Zero" has caused curiosity among gadget lovers as it is very different from the ones Samsung had used in the past like Project J for the Galaxy S4, Project K for the Galaxy S5, Project H for the Galaxy Note 3, and Project T for the Galaxy Note 4.
