Samsung Galaxy Express, the low-mid range dual core smartphone from the house of Samsung, will release in India by this month. The device is already listed in an unknown retail store at an attractive price tag of Rs 11,574. Infibeam has also listed the droid with coming soon status. In less than Rs 15,000 price bracket we have a bunch of quad core smartphones but overall specs of Samsung Galaxy Express are impressive. The machine is powered by dual core 1.2 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM. Possibly it’s Broadcom BCM28155 SoC that is used in Samsung Galaxy Grand, Galaxy S2 Plus.
Samsung Galaxy Express sports 4.5 inch Super AMOLED display with WVGA resolution at 207 ppi. There is a 5 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front camera. Possibly it’s launched to replace currently available Samsung Galaxy S Advance that is available at Rs ~12500. There is nothing special in design but less than 10 mm thickness is still under consideration.

Other features of Samsung Galaxy Express includes 2000 mAh battery, HSPA+ speed, Bluetooth v4.0, dual band Wi-Fi, micro USB with MHL link (HDMI out), Wi-Fi Direct, GPS navigation with GLONASS and of course Android OS.
