Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is now official. Last one, the Ace 2 did a fantastic job in low-mid range price segment which should have encouraged the South Korean giant smartphone manufacturer to bring the successor dubbed Galaxy Ace 3. The design of the device is very much inspired from the flagship models. Hardware is just at par; dual core processor and a GB of RAM may be not what you would love at this stage. LTE variant should be a good low-cost alternative but the HSPA+ version fails to impress us as there is nothing to talk about. The HSPA+ variant will come in optional dual sim card option.
Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 HSPA+ is powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor of unknown making. The LTE version has a 1.2 GH dual core CPU, hopefully Snapdragon 400. RAM is 1 GB in both the variants. Other features include 4 inch TFT LCD display with WVGA resolution, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB, Wi-Fi Direct, A-GPS with GLONASS, micro SD card slot, 5 MP back camera with LED flash, VGA front camera etc. The HSPA+ version has 4 GB ROM, 1500 mAh battery and is measured to have a dimension of 121.2 x 62.7 x 9.8 mm and weight of 115 g while the LTE variant is slightly better in terms of features and has 8 GB ROM, 1800 mAh battery.

Samsung patented features like S-Translator, S Travel, Smart Stay, S Voice, Easy Mode will be there in the software front. Out of the box Galaxy Ace 3 runs Android 4.2 JellyBean. Pricing and rest of the details are unknown as of now. Hopefully, in 20th June’s event we will hear more about the device.
