Reliance Jio's 4G services haven't seen a commercial rollout yet, but the launch seems imminent, considering the company has started taking registrations from interested people for network trials. The company's official site Jio.com is now live and has started taking registrations.

The official website also reveals apps from Reliance Jio, namely MyJio, JioChat, JioPlay, JioOnDemand, JioBeats, JioMags, JioXpressNews, JioDrive, JioJoin, JioMoney, and JioSecurity. Notably, all these apps are now available to download via Google Play and App Store.

The JioChat Messenger app is an instant messaging app under JioChat category; JioSecurity app offer mobile security and is part of Jio Security; JioPlay - TV Channels Programs will offer content from TV and will fall under category JioPlay, and Jio XpressNews is a news and magazine aggregation app. The JioMoney is the company's own wallet app which will allow users to recharge and do other payment related functions. Reliance's JioJoin is the company's Skype like video chat app that enables non-VoLTE smartphones to make HD voice as well as video calls. The website currently only allows users with Jio accounts to log-in.

Last month, an employee referral program went underway where Reliance employees could invite their friends and families to join. Under the invite-only model, the employee referral program offered up to 10GB free voice and data for three months.

Earlier this year, Mukesh Ambani had announced that Reliance Jio would be ready to commercially launch its 4G telecom services in second half of 2016. So far, Reliance Jio's 4G services are available to roughly 120,000 employees, their families and business partners.
