Optimus 3D P920 – Benchmark & Reviews





LG officially announced the Optimus 3D P920 Android smartphone powered by “tri-dual” configuration – dual-core, dual-channel and dual-memory.

The new partnership is part of a broader push into 3D entertainment by LG and the world’s largest online video community. YouTube and LG collaborated to enable the delivery and sharing of 3D video onto mobile devices in a way that makes it simple and easy for consumers.

The 3D phone is boosted by TI OMAP4 dual core 1GHz processor, and 4Gb LP DDR2 memory. It comes with 8GB internal memory.

The Optimus 3D features dual 5 Megapixel lens camera that can record 1080p Full HD 2D video or 720p HD 3D video.
The phone also supports 720p and 1080p video playback of H.264, H.263, DivX, MKV, WMV-9, ASF, AVI, 3GP, MP4 formats. The Optimus 3D has a 4.3-inch large 3D touchscreen and offers HDMI 1.3 output and DLNA support.
LG has partnered with YouTube allowing users to upload and stream 3D content and share each other’s creations on YouTube’s dedicated 3D channel (youtube.com/3D).

Coming in Q2, the LG Optimus 3D will be released with Android 2.2 Froyo and will be upgradeable to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).
